I do recall, long ago when I was younger, hearing that GGI could be activated in your Keenspace account if you really really wanted it. Is that true? Is that the case? What sort of limits are imposed upon it? ...I'm a little new to CGI, admittedly, but I'm learning. I'd like to set up an Oekaki board for my comic. Mind you, it may be more economical and rational to find alternate hosting for that purpose. Just checking, that's all...

It's do-able, just ask <a href="mailto:help@keensapce.com">Nate</a> and and he'll set it up.<P>If you don't mind me asking, is there any particular reason you want an Oekaki board, as opposed to a UBB board here?<P>------------------

If you want a KeenSpace board, just follow <a href="http://www.keenspace.com/cgi-bin/ubb/fo ... T=Go">this link</a>; you can post images (without a special program) using normal HTML code like thus:
<font color=blue face="courier new"><img src=http://portside.keenspace.com/images/quantum150.gif width=150 height=150 alt="Danger! Quantum containment field"></font><P><img src=http://portside.keenspace.com/images/quantum150.gif width=150 height=150 alt="Danger! Quantum containment field"><P>I'm not sure if the Oekaki BBS hosts the images or just pulls them from peoples own site tho'. If it hosts them itself, and that's something you feel you need, go for it, but tell Nate exactly what you're after.<P>------------------

Because Oekaki boards let you draw stuff! They're not a traditional message board... they're something of a picture-post thing, only the pictures need to be created with the Oekaki program. There's quite a few boards out there. *sigh* I want one of my own. It likely won't get much traffic, but hey.

Well, I'll mail Nate and have a quick chat with him. But.. um... we're not on the same wavelength about an Oekaki BBS, here. I already HAVE a Keenspace BB, and it works nicely for simple BB things... but an Oekaki board is more of an art tool that lets you comment on the pictures afterwards! Gyah. <A HREF="http://oekaki.aesiraven.com" TARGET=_blank>http://oekaki.aesiraven.com</A> is an example of sorts... this is a lot fancier than what I'd want to put up.<P>...my concern is that the pictures themselves, which are archived on the server, might take up space. They're pngs and they tend not to be too huge or anything... still, it might be an issue. Anyhow, I'll talk to Nate. And I hope you're clear on what I mean, now! ^_^
