as the title says, my site is having major trouble.(btw, the site is at http://pencilcomic.keenspace.com )
its been having trouble uploading with FTP, and when i just recently used Site Maintinance to upload, only half the site came up.
Next, whenever i upload comics, all the previous comics get deleted, and i have to re-upload.
Last, but not least, i singed up for the KEENschool dropdown, then added the Javascript code. after that, the dropdown didnt show. i talked to the moderator, and retried the code, but still, nothing.
Any help would be appriciated.
[This message has been edited by c_thunder (edited 07-09-2001).]

Your comics get deleted? If you mean from /workspace/comics/, that's suppossed to happen. Your comics are moved into /public_html/comics/ so browsers can load them (they can't access anything in /workspace/ so having two copies of your comics would be redundant).
As for only half your site showing, if you mean the rest of your buttons; they'll appear once you have more than two comics. If you mean the comics themselves, it looks like you need to optimise the images. for b/w, gray scale, or limited colour (about 256) images you're best off reducing the colour depth as far as you can without reducing quality and saving the comics as PNG or GIF images rather than Jpegs.
If you need more help with this, just ask.

------------------
