I have a couple of questions. First off, why are the advertisements not showing up on my pages (except for my index.html), they just show up as the tag ***advertisement***. Second, can anyone suggest a program to use for puting dialog bubbles and fonts in comics (tired of hand writing them......and it looks bad, hehe). Thanks for takeing time to answer my questions!
peace
tj

The tags will only work on the pages you make as templates. Keenspace doesn't seem to mind if pages you create don't have ads.
As for the word bubbles, I make mine in Paint, but the results are less than spectacular. Some versions of Photoshop can do it.
------------------

Set in the future! In comic form!

Actually every page you create has to have the ***advertisement*** tag at the top, and the only tags that won't work (well) on other pages are the ***todays_comics**** and the ***<something>_day*** tags.
TJ, what's your URL, and where are you uploading your stuff?
-----------------

For comic bubbles, I use two programs: MS Paint, and Paint Shop Pro.
Basically, I load up my comic in PSP, then in paint I make the bubble with the text really huge. I select around the bubble and paste it as a new layer in PSP, and then I use the magic wand tool to select and delete the white surrounding the bubble, and then I simply shrink it down to the appropriate size. By shrinking it, it makes it look much better.

(Note: if you want to make a sub-directory in /webpages/ and put your pages in that, just make sure it's not named /comics/ or /d/)
