[Solved] Index.html Error

Post by Zemalac »

Hello.

Something odd happened to my site today. I uploaded my comics for the week as I normally do on Sunday, and when I opened the site today to make sure it was up I got a blank white page (you can see for yourself here: http://ofdoom.comicgenesis.com/). Looking at the page source shows no HTML code at all, and an error logged to the console saying "The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol." I then checked the files themselves with my FTP client and found that the index.html file was for some reason a 0-size empty file, which might be the problem.

I admit to having no idea what happened here, and I'm hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction.

Nevermind, I submitted a request for a full update and that seems to have fixed the issue. Problem solved.
