my webcomic's been on hiatus for over a year (thank you grad school) but I'm trying to get back on the pony horse...
However, I now appear to be unable to log into my comicgen FTP for my webcomic - which makes updating things like the frontpage of my comic, and the other pages, quite impossible
now, I haven't changed the password since last - and 1½ year ago it worked - but now it doesn't.
I get a "critical error, could not connect to server" errror on Filezilla
(and I can still log on to the siteadmin page - which has the SAME password and login - so I know that part hasn't been changed)
It's unusual that it would let you login to site admin but not the FTP. Usually it's the other way around. You can upload comics from siteadmin.
Try cg's browser FTP http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com/net2ftp/index.php
If that doesn't work reset your password.
like I said before, I can log in to siteadmin just fine - and I know my password and username there
but when I try to use the same username, and give it a new password - via the link you gave me... then I am told that the username cannot be found.
Your username for the ftp is the first part of your domain name ie. username.comicgenesis.com which I'm guessing is probably different to your Siteadmin/forum username.
