Account locked a while ago

Post by Smelch »

Hi, about a year or so ago, I registered an account (http://voidrunners.comicgenesis.com/), I had an artist to draw for me, and it seemed to be going ok, but he dropped out suddenly and the account was frozen (I remember if you don't update so many times, it gets shut off).

I've been away and learnt to draw for myself, and was wondering if it's possible to either get the previous one wiped so I can re-register the address, or if I can have it unlocked so I can start again?

Is this allowed, or will I be told to frak off? Also, who would I contact regarding such stuff?

Cheers.

Huh? First I've heard of comics getting locked.

As far as I am aware, the only states for comic accounts is running, on hiatus or deleted.

If the comic is running or on hiatus then whoever has the passwords to the acount can log in. Comic accounts get deleted if there are only one or two comics and no new comics are uploaded within 90 days. If a comic account has three or more comics, then they stay in the CG system until the end of time.

The only way for a comic to be "locked" is if the author (or one of the authors if there are several) changes the password and then forgets it.

Q: Do you still have the original email address that was used to register the comic account originally?

Weird.

I'm gonna go have another look at this then, I've obviously been hit with a dose of retardation.

Cheers.
