Hey This may be a stupid question- but I was wondering if I missed a step somewhere in getting the pogs/banners/newsbox ad approved for my web comic.
I sent in the request April 28th, but have heard nothing back and have not be approved. Does this mean that there is something wrong with them, or just that there is a backup in the queue for approvals right now? (That, or did I have to do something after uploading them in siteadmin?)

Ah, good to know I'm not alone. I was about to make a topic on the same thing. X_X;
Following the Wiki, there shouldn't be anything to do after uploading - at least on our ends... I think I read somewhere that the normal wait time is a week, but... Well, I'm amazed you've been so patient if you uploaded them in August.
I'm getting a bit ansy after having done that myself in April...
It's an open ended process, mostly because it's not automated. What I mean is that The Society of Real People at Comicgenesis (TSRP@CG)* look at your whatsits when they can. In a lot of cases this takes a while. Probably I would reckon at least two months but this is a figure which I have pulled completely from my butt, but which seems reasonable.

Funny how threads about similar things seem to crop up around the same time. This thread was posted just 2 days ago... Anyway, as mentioned before, by VCC, the process is actually a manual one so the time frame kind of varies. I, myself, have been waiting since March 02 for my approvals. I just let it go and assume that it will be approved eventually.

It took me too long to realize you meant the second of March and not March of 2002!
Oh, geez... haha, March 2002 would have been... I dunno. If my comic STARTED in 2002, well... to be honest, I think I'd have stopped updating about 6 years ago. But if I HADN'T! I'd hope that I'd have my own domain by now! >.< 7 years of comic-ing... I can't even imagine that!
