[FIXED] Haven't Received Confirmation for FTP Password

Well, I'm still in the Waiting Room, being on a Yahoo Account. I don't have IM though.

My FTP username is gathion

I had originally signed up with a gmail address and just went through the process of getting a FTP password again. It's been roughly half an hour since I submitted the form and it said 'sending e-mail' and still no e-mail.

I receive all other comic genesis e-mails just fine and I've checked my spam folder to make sure it's not gobbling it up. I believe that for whatever reason, the e-mail is not being sent.

I need everyone to try the Lost FTP password utility again. You should get the emails now, although some of you have used more than one email address. That's something I'm also going to fix in a few minutes here.

Some extra feedback for you STrRedWolf:

Putting in the wrong password (not the same) gives an error message "Passwords don't match" (which is good) but it also puts the "E-Mail has been sent Password changes to FTP and siteadmin take effect immediately, password changes to members.keenspace.com take effect at 2AM" message as well. This might be confusing to some members. Not sure if you can do anything about that.

Other than that, it all works splendidly. Email arrived in my Hotmail inbox in approximately 13 seconds.

I've also updated the CGWiki to reflect this change.

New members who have a name with a lower case first letter should be aware that although they should now be able to access their comic directly via FTP, they will still be unable to get into SiteAdmin.

Its still not giving me the ftp password email, I got to the reset page from the link in the email confirming my new site was up and running.

I used bluebookofdoom as the comic username, and typed my new password in the custom password and custom password confirmation box. Like tyhe other times it wasnt sending me the email, it said the email had been sent.

Hi, my FTP thingy worked, and I'm on Hotmail
