Haven't been able to log on FTP with SmartFTP

Haven't been able to log on FTP with SmartFTP

Alright, I've waited almost a week and update time for my comic is coming again, so I'm here in the forums to see what's going on. :/;; I had this problem last Wednesday, and it's still persisting for me -- I cannot log in to my FTP account using SmartFTP. I've been able to log in before then and update the comic, but the past week has been giving me problems and I have not been able to log in at all. Attempts to log in time out and give me the following error:

[22:28:42] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
I cannot even get the web FTP gadget to load in my browser (I use Firefox). Did something change with the FTP info lately, or is it just problems with the server? Is there any way to get around this? :C As far as I know I've been using the right address ('bruisedoranges.comicgenesis.com' instead of 'ftp.bruisedoranges.comicgenesis.com'), and my password should be the same, so I'm clueless as to why it's stopped working for me.

Edit: I've also tried the WebFTP client in Internet Explorer, and that just gave me a straight up "not available" error. I guess it's something server-side and I have to wait it out?

Siteadmin was shut down for a few days while some bugs were sprayed, but it should all be working now.

I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't be working at the moment, but it may pay to try the usual things (such as trying to log in from a different computer).

Are there alternative means to using a different computer for this? I don't exactly have ready access to another comp at the moment, and I really would like to get into my FTP account to update my comic with last week's page and this week's page. :/

The Siteadmin portion seems to work fine, except for the WebFTP which still times out. I used the link in the tutorial, this is the correct address, yes? http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080/ ... eb-ftp.cgi
