Try opening a new window, going to the forum, logging in, and then on that same window; go to site admin.

I'm having the same problem. Trying to log in to site admin nets me the following:
Also attempting to log into the Web-FTP address gives me a "Login Failed" message.
And yes, I've checked case sensitivity.Notice: Undefined index: username in /home/space/siteadmin/public_html/everything.php on line 528
Notice: Undefined index: username in /home/space/siteadmin/public_html/everything.php on line 550
Username not valid!

methinks you have bad software. There is no way you should be seeing an error about missing username unless your browser does not support http digest authentication. In which case I humbly suggest to upgrade your web browser to something made this century.ChronicMisadventures wrote:I'm having the same problem. Trying to log in to site admin nets me the following:

Firefox, Opera, and even MSIE6+ do support it.
If you think you are stuck

I'm using IE7. I tried logging into siteadmin this morning using both IE7 and Firefox and both are now giving 'cannot connect to site' messages. The Web-FTP address is, however, working this morning. I'll try again with siteadmin this afternoon with both browsers.Kisai wrote: methinks you have bad software. As a reminder, please don't go "it does not work" that is completely unhelpful. Copy and paste the error message, or take a screenshot and attach it to the forum.

I get:
"Your browser is broken, please use Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera or something that supports HTTP Authentication!"
Once it gave me a bunch of code too but it's not showing up this time.
As far as I can tell all my stuff is up to date and I have nothing that should prevent it from working. I tried it in both Firefox and IE.

!
Ok wait, I'm not entirely sure how but I got it to work. I just tried the process again basically and all went well. I even closed it and tried again the simple route of just clicking the link and it worked. I think doing the whole process in the same tab helped. Or something. Anyway hooray for me at least.

yeah pretty much in the chat we determined that IE and Firefox were sending two completely different things to the server, so I had to put in a "if no username, try alt method f*ck you IE"
technically IE is doing it wrong. But I digress, originally Apache was doing the authentication, not PHP and it was handing both fine so I had assumed they were still working.

The same error occurs with the pre-tabs version of IE on this PC. Is the problem on my end? I've had various other errors this week but I cant figure this one out. All I want to do is update my newsbox and I've tried so many times ;_;Notice: Undefined index: uri in /home/space/siteadmin/public_html/everything.php on line 568
