Hello,
I sent an email to Kelly, but in case he hasn't had a chance to check email, I wanted to post here. I know this is an odd request, so this may not be the best place to do it, but I couldn't think of anywhere else.
I was wondering if I could get the statistics used to generate the Comic Genesis Guide Pages in table format. In addition to being a Comic Genesis artist, I'm a grad student taking a statistics course. We can choose the data we use for our homework all semester long, so I wanted to try to use comic statistics. In general, I'm hoping to see the relationships between unique visits, pageviews, update schedule, type of comic, number of letters in the comic name, etc. Plus, it's far more interesting to examine this than, say, housing data.
Is there anyway I can get this information? I'd be happy to share whatever I find with the forum, but I do need an answer quickly (first assignment is due Wednesday), so I can pick a different information set if your decision is not to share the information.
Thanks!

The CG stats are done through a program called Webalizer, so you should be able to format the data in any way that it allows (it's rather robust).
If you click on the month link on the summary by month box, that'll bring up a page that shows tables indicating page hits, views, etc for day and the time of day.
Not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for.

Yeah, I've used webalizer to track my own comic's performance before. It is pretty robust.
What I was looking for was the statistics for ALL Comic Genesis comics, not just mine. I don't need an incredible amount of detail... just what's publicly available in the guide. But I do need it in a form that's easy to export to Excel. I thought there might be some sort of master file that feeds the Comic Genesis Guide that I could get a copy of.
Is that more clear? I'm sorry if what I wrote before made sense to me and me alone.

Riiiight. Problem is, the Guide is difficult to import into excel in a usable form.
I had figured that only Kelly and Kisai would be able to access the data. I did try emailing Kelly... just had hoped this thread might have caught his attention, even if the email didn't.
Oh well. Thanks for trying.

I just got your mail, and forwared it to internal communications. It'll be a while. I think Kisai's going on vacation soon.
