Problems with Editing

Post by Unknown Hero James »

I had some pages I wanted to take of the site. I took them off using my ftp account. After I updated and I tried to check and see if it worked, I clicked on the NEXT COMIC link starting from the first comic and an unavailible page came up. It works when I go backwards and it works when I go forwards starting from the second comic, but not from the first comic. Did I do somthing horribly wrong?
click first comic and then click next on the site here[/url]

When you delete items from the public_html directory you have to be sure to run a full update. This is pretty much the only time a regular one won't work.

There is another way that won't require a full update: simply re-upload dailytemplate.html (even if you've made no changes to it). A regular update will then fix your navigation links, and the site will only rebuild your archives instead of the whole site (quicker update and less server strain... Everyone wins!).
