FTP help

I have a question when i log in to my FTP i don't see the index.html
rss.xml files can someone please tell me if thats a problem or if i need to get/make new ones

I don't know about rss, but do *NOT* touch the index.html file in the public_html folder. The file you need to edit is indextemplate.html in the workspace folder. Make sure to read the tutorials before editing stuff in your account.

What isn't there? indextemplate.html in the workspace folder or index.html in the public_html folder?

If the former, simply check out the FAQ thread. You'll find a copy of the original code there. Simply create a new html document, copy-paste that code in it, name the page indextemplate.html (*EXACTLY* indextemplate.html, no caps, no .htm) and upload it to workspace. If index.html is missing but you have indextemplate.html, simply run a manual update from the siteadmin: http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com

If that still doesn't solve the problem, what FTP program are you using? What files do you have in your account? What is your site's address?

thanks it's okay there both there now but thanks for the help.

Now all that is left is the wait for the site to go online and so i can start the comic.
