arghhh X_X problems with updating

: / Hey, can anyone help me? Now that comicgenesis has changed it's layout etc., I've been having difficulty updating my site. I tried using the different kinds of manual updates all day. The queue status bar no longer tells me how long the wait is so I am not sure.

the bar only shows (QUEUE STATUS: Queued at *date* and *time* on Keenspace_Butch for a Manual Regular Update (Updates last 30 days).
: / it gives me no sign that the database is doing anything so I am left to guess.
The last time I tried to update was maybe 4 hours ago. My site remains unchanged and I know I uploaded everything into FTP correctly... I doubt there are that many people updating....

Can someone please tell me why I am having this problem? Is the manual update site working for other people?

I miss the old format for manually updating site etc. ....is there anyway to access that login page etc. still T_T? or is it gone forever?

thanks to rianeva's link in a previous post which i overlooked and found that there ARE a lot of people updating..... that was the problem... oyyy. there are about 720 people in front of me....ouch. comicgenesis is having issues or something. i hope things get fixed soon.

Everything's been weird for me too... and honestly it's getting on my nerves.. :/

We became Comic Genesis because Keenspot Entertainment depends on the revenue from the Keenspot brand, and the Keenspace name was causing confusion. Keenspot still wanted to offer the free service, but the name had to change - thus after a lot of voting and yelling and banging of fists and pleading and so on, the name ComicGenesis was picked by the people on the forum who followed the change and took the opportunity to vote.

There's a lot more there that could be fleshed out, but this is, afaik, the gist of it.
