Long-dead comic needs revivin'!

Around about August time, in 2003, I joined Keenspace with my comic "Caves and Critters". After suffering problems with the interface back then and losing my patience after I recieved no help on the matter from the admins, I keft the comic as it was and went to find a new host - currently at "DrunkDuck" --> [link]

However, DD has recently proved itself to be less stable than an overweight hippopotamus on a tightrope balancing a tower of rugby balls on it's nose whilst beating cake mix.

As such, I want to come back here and try it again, with a more educated view of how the whole ftp system works; only problem is, my OLD account (http://cavesandcritters.keenspace.com) still exists - and I have long, long, LONG since forgotten the login id and password I used.

The only proof I really have to the matter is that I have every comic on that site and about 200 more (since I draw them =p) on my computer, and that if an email were sent to the address at the bottom of that poorly-made page, I'd get it and be able to reply. Oh, that and the fact that the name which the copyright at the bottom of the page refers to, is mine 8p

Is there any way I can either get my User ID and password re-issued to the registered email address for that comic's account so I can come back, or get the account deleted and re-register?

That's an intresting way of putting it.

You may reset your password here: http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080/ ... ssword.cgi

You will need to verify the change, though, for basic security. Give it a few hours after you act on your password change verification email (and check your junk mail too, if you used Hotmail) before logging in.

I sent the request, but I've seen no sign of an email with my password in it to either my current email account or the one I used when I made the cavesandcritters comic account, in my inbox or my spam mails.

It takes a while to get the email. Give it 24 hours.

EDIT: Also make sure your spam blockers aren't kicking out the email.

Mm... it's been more than 24 hours, (sent on the 25th, it's now the 27th =p), and I'm as sure as can be that they aren't. I don't -have- any spam filters other than the default ones =p

Mmmnope, still no sign of that email, and I even sent the request again a short while back to no avail. I can only assume that my KS account is still set to the ancient email address of lord_mortaine@hotmail.com, which I haven't used in yonks - and god help me if I can remember the p/w to that one! =p
'elp me! DD's gone for good and I need to put meh comics somewhere!

If you haven't used that hotmail address in a long while, it might have been deleted. Just create a new hotmail profile for this address, and voil?, no problem.
