A few more dumb questions...

Post by TheNewL »

I know that I can change the current stuff on my site using a full update, but I was just wondering if there was any way for me to change a single comic without doing that. I dunno, it just seems like a total waste of bandwidth to do a full update if I ever want to go back and color something later.

And please, don't give me too big of a spiel about making sure my comics are perfect before I post them...I'm just thinking of maybe changing a panel or three when I have time...I think they're fine, but they could be better.

Uploading the new comic version to workspace/comics and triggering a regular update should do the trick.

ETA: In fact, a while ago, "full update" was deactivated because people abused it and were draining server ressources when not needed. I don't know why people still recommend doing a full update without trying a regular update first.

More questions:

-Is there a way to tell how many hits I've gotten through ComicGen itself, or am I going to have to use a counter?
-Can anyone point me in the right direction for tips on getting a tagboard? That'd be great.

Thanks in advance.

Use the logs at http://www.comicgenesis.com/members/YOU ... HERE/logs/, or through siteadmin.

I use MyShoutbox. It's pretty good.
