... In general, though, a "true hermaphrodite" doesn't happen in humans as the two sexual organs produce hormones that lead to instability and often death. Usually it's more like one primary sexual organ is present, but additional sex chromosomes are also present, leading to either underdeveloped s...

Well, Sylvain, that 1.7%-4% of the world's population, that the American Journal of Law & Medicine ( " Who Will Make Room for the Intersexed? " - Kate Haas) calls the "intersexed," might disagree with you. As for the "medical condition" ... Um, that reads very close to being a bigoted statement. I'm...

*the ringwolf holds up four fingers* By your knowledge of evolution as it relates to reproduction, which do you think came first: seperate male and female genders or a hermaphroditic gender? And then think about what gender would precede sexual reproduction. There might be more, but these four I am ...

As has been the case with my posts in this forum, that was not quite what I was alluding to, Allan. From the standpoint I see of your work, technology has become a necessity of functionality. Malcontents can wreak havoc with simplistic devices that do not maim or murder people through their technolo...

And to think that the technology for Shadowrun was supposed to show an active retardation and stagnation employed against innovation as a means of making the game's dysfunctional dark age more oppressive; the world of Shadowrun was nowhere near what it should have technologically achieved. As for th...

From what you've said about your father he has cared for you, listened to you, and given you wisdom you have found valuable without measure throughout your life. It sounds to me like he prepared you to answer this one question: what would your father have you do now? You are only as alone as you mak...

Um, Nyamaza? Wouldn't such a thing enable "thought police" and such policing strategies? Wouldn't it also create a demand for countering devices that only the powerful and well connected could have in spades? Wouldn't such devices contribute to the development of statist/despotic rule and a citizenr...

*grimaces and looks away* Now, I'm in favor of mad science looking into the probability of mammary enhancement , just like the next red-blooded perv, but there is such a thing as going too far. Breasts are appealing unless they are no longer in the place one would expect britzkis to be. I mean, that...

I thought about the "hurt" angle for Rick and it still doesn't jive with the head-thrown-back, villianous laughing at the end of that strip nor the gleeful malice showing on his face when he is saying words obviously meant to hurt. It's obvious that Rick felt he was decieved by Colin. But even in th...

It is a rather jarring character shift for Rick; this is the third time Poop has done some freaky-weird shi-stuff with character portrayal. I'm still off-balance from the Duma/Colin violence being canon to the story and now this cartoonish portrayal of Rick... I have no words; it's just too surreal....

*sigh* You guys are focusing on the wrong thing again... and making a bad argument of it to boot. "If I was to fault anything in the comic," is what I had said to make the distinction for what promopted my posting, which is an outrageous statement by Sylvain regarding acrobats/dancers and why he is ...

Well, the guy appears to be crouching a little, which should shave a few inches off the jump... Also, as you mention, Andrick, this IS a comic!.. Um... that was not what I was taking issue with. I took issue with the comment about above mediocre acrobats and dancers being able to vertically propel ...
