"Adam, if we..." Barnard started at high speed then stopped. He moved closer to Adam then a few seconds later with lowered and slowed voice said, "Will the cafeteria be a safe place to talk about all this? I have done a little practice with damping out sound, but I am not sure if I could keep strong...

I find it more likely that the last village Questor before the job went completely out of fashion had the good sense to realize that (culturally) happy times don't last forever. So, upon or after his retirement/career change (due to no business...) to a life of bean farming or whatever. He set this ...

I just want to pendantically point out that if this were 3rd or 3.5 then all she would have had to have done was spend the 2 skill points to get the 1 rank in Knowledge[Arcana] or perhaps Knowledge[Anthropology*] and Ben would have had her make the DC 5 roll to have him break the sad news to her gen...

Since nobody has mentioned it yet I will also point out that the unicorns in the beastiary for "Tale's of the Questor" also... umm... DIFFER greatly from the normal image of such things. In fact I would say that the white stag is much closer to being in the spirit of a unicorn than the actual unicor...

YAY CALBECK!! And you should see the unicorns over at "Room For One More"... I thought those only had the ONE drawback (which not any more problem than with a horse as long as one keep a sharp eye out and has Oren on speed dial to fix any transformations if someone messes up). I was under the impre...

I have the Eberron rule book and have read a lot of it. I have enough on my plate, that I probably shouldn't join an online D&D game let alone GM one. That stuff on my plate does include running a face-to-face D&D game so I might give advice if it is needed. I only have the 3rd edition books, not 3....

I am thinking that having Barnard talk like he is is good RP on my part, I just want to double check here and say that since I have lower than average social perceptiveness, if I AM being problematic people need to tell me OOC. Actually, that goes for just about anything regarding the RP, not just B...

"Probably not what you meant but: I think I do it between sentences, I never gave it much thought. I'm just naturally hyperactive, I think it will be a plus in my line of work if I ever actually get INTO my line of work. And a plus in this endeveour of ours, which now that I think of it is much more...

"I had come to the conclusion that it probably WAS best for him to stay on the grounds. If you thought differently, perhaps I didn't make myself clear. Your arguement adds weight to the point, but the case happens to be that your tone of voice wasn't called for. I am perfectly aware of my short-comi...

The tricky thing is that it's easy to *think* that you're fighing for God's Good when you might not be. (That is not to say that you shouldn't try to fight for God's Good, but I'm just saying.) Ah but those of us who are perfect need not worry about that. Do you have ANY idea how... no, wait a sec....

Actually, I'd think it would be in Guilder's intrest to support the open-traders, after all, he is a merchant. That depends on whether he thinks that he could benefit from such trade, either by: 1.) Being a middle-man for goods on either the import or export side of the equation. 2.) Getting his ra...

Barnard opened his mouth to say something, then shut it with a somewhat sour glance at Adam, "Time enough to discuss the way I talk with him later." he thought, "But SOMETHING needs saying.". "But aren't we supposed to be your close bodygaurds or something? I mean the council...", he shut up before ...
