Thing is about science, is that while anyone can learn it, most people ... ..take it on faith. Mind you, its the same way that I take faith that I'm using a computer right now, or that when I go to eat dinner I'll have a table to eat it on (Not that I'd use it ANYHOW)... But thats also the EXACT sam...

OOC: When I first saw this thread, I took a look at the Character Architypes I had. These were, the Self-Confidant Mercenary who wants to lead his own band, the very young prodigy at something to do with Lux, the old and wizened wizard, the bard/theif young boy with a couple of nervous tics, except ...

I agree. Yup. Probably some more. I think that once the truth gets out about what really happened under the Millfolk's home (and too many people know about it to be kept a secret forever), there'll be more people... But I think that boils down the list. You have to remeber that the Millfolks are the...

I was under the impression that condoms were made out of sheep/pig/cow guts... And let me put it this way... A sure way to avoid being overweight is to not eat. If you don't eat, you don't get all the stuff that makes you fat. Or, how about this: What kills fleas nice and good, 100% of the time? Fir...

Does fate influence people, or do people make their own fate? Or is it both, and Yeshu smiles upon us all...? --==-- Through the doors of the inn's tavern walked a young, very young man, Or perhaps an old boy, dressed in the quasi-uniform of the priesthood. Walked... or sidled? The young man attempt...

Seconded what Redneck says. Sure, yes, if Abstinence was practiced 100% of the time, it'd work 100% of the time. But people, being people, and having things like glands and such that muck up logical though, will not practice abstinence. Saying that we need to rely soley on abstinence is... putting t...

Coincidently...

I'm not an athiest. Things seem a little TOO ordered for random chaos to account for it all. But I also don't believe in an all powerful elder all knowing ever present god that has a divine plan for the universe.

Also, belief in nothing is still belief in SOMETHING.

I was going to make comments about atheism but I am not going to start that flame war. Faith in GOD is not the same faith in magic. Speaking as someone from the outside of any religion, and looking at it from the perspective as a skeptic of all belief as reality, but a believer of belief itself... ...

No, the apt term would be....

"You idiot, you should have recorded your speech onto a tap and played it while you were very far away and running fast..."

Thing is, though... I agree with him.

The Great White Stag, either God's Pet or God Himself, didn't tell Quent what to do.

Just gave him a nudge so that he would do what he wanted to do, do what needed to be done.

As for Sweden... erm... I lost track after Gustavus Adolphus died in Germany...
