"So, Spludge, we meet again..." Shouldn't that be "We meet again, Dr. Spludge..."? ;) No, it's Dr. Smap who deftly unravels the devices of the sinister Lord Retch. Spludge is the plucky hero who defies the odds and Lord Retch's vile minions to sweep in and rescue Plorp from Retch's vile clutches. D...

How Dare they!
This sounds like the time to write them an angry letter demanding an apology for accusing you of supporting or condoning terrorism through your artwork. If they're going to dish out bogus rejections like that, someone should turn the tables on them and make them eat their words.

I have the first movie on DVD. Never have read the books yet. I remember the day Book 4 came out where I work. All we could think was "an 800 page CHILDREN'S book"?!?! I'd say Jackie has it right. Harry Potter isn't a Childrens book. It's a Book for Adults to Read to Children. Most of your typical ...

There's this one guy in my Managing Information Resources class who nicknamed me "Harry Potter". I'm not exactly sure why. I went to a Yule party last December, just after the Harry Potter movie was released. This one kid comes up to me, looks up and says "Hagrid". So I look down at him and says, "...

D'you mean one of those serials where the end of each episode features Spludge getting blown up as he flies his plane into the Lord Retch's evil lair, and the beginning of the following episode shows Spludge from a different camera angle, jumping out of the plane at the last minute? Perzactly! With...

BJ, You missed a few...
You missed a few Disney firsts in your list, BJ. And you're also right: it's not sweet or cute. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd say this is the first Disney animated feature to show... Physical violence (actually, outright abuse) between siblings A broken, dysfunctional family that isn't happy "jus...

Others in the running included Blatch, Plorp, Smap, Retch (for obvious reasons), Splut and combinations (such as "Splatch"). BJ, Sounds like you've got a list of character names for a new comic there... The adventures of Spludge! With his trusty frend Blatch, his faithful love intrest Plorp, and th...

Of course the Grand Vizier is evil! A Grand Vizier is what you get when you put a lawyer in charge of writing the laws. Well, that and laws that apply to everyone but the Grand Vizier... If you put multiple lawyers in charge of writing laws, you get Congress, which is a different breed of evil... Doc

Let parents be parents. Don't let government be the parents. Nice plan, but unfortunately, too many parents don't WANT to parent their kids. They want someone else to do it for them, 'cause they can't be bothered. So the lazy parents vote for the busybody would-be nannys and get them into positions...

I liked it too...
But I'm more curious about the plunger gardening method Tonja's employing.
