Oh, and I don't care for the movies either. The leave so much stuff out that it looks like they'd have to change the story entirely, but I suppose stuff like continutity never stopped people from just magically having something come out of thin air.

On the knife though... Tom was really into the whole larping experience. It didn't quite click with him that he wasn't dealing with real Vampires until a few minutes after he woke up from passing out. The knife could have just been his imagination.
