Simon gathers up the loot her finds lieing around and stuffs it into his pockets. The coins can be shared around with the others later ... or not. He doesn't fancy the idea of trying to eat with a fork that's been lieing around in this place for any length of time, but then again you never know when...

I'm pretty sure we're waiting for Narf. Not that I'm trying to rush you or anything Narf, I know you've been through a lot here lately, but it does seem we've been waiting a while. Just wondering if you're about ready to resume or if we've got a while to wait yet.

Okay, I've checked it over now and I must say it looks very interesting. It does seem a little overpowered for a normal class though. Maybe it would work better as a prestige class? After all, does it make sense for someone to start as a military leader without coming up through the ranks first? "Co...

I haven't looked at it yet, I'll do that in a minute, but I just wanted to say up front that I follow Order of the Stick and I can totally see where your inspiration came from on this: Elan's prestige class.

Thanks for pointing out that there was a new comic Thanatos. I've been missing all the updates for the past WEEK thanks to ComicGenesis not updating unless you click Refresh. Darn you ComicGenesis!

Think if I begged real hard Alina would add a girl named Laurie to the cast? Then I could be the second forum member who's name is applied to a character of the opposite gender! ^,^

I'm waiting for the results of Simon's search of the little room he was stuck in before he's free to go take over for Jakob.

Simon looks at the doorway as the others manage to wrench the door off it's hinges and waves his thanks to them, then sets about searching the room for any hidden valuables before leaving to check the other nooks. As he searches he considers how to keep the other doors from closing behind him and tr...

Eh, I know it's a cludge, but you could call the Nature allegience GenPred for Genetic Predisposition to distinguish it from an allegience to Nature. There's probably some other more natural labels you could use though, if I could just think of one.

I like this idea! The allegiances thing sounds like it would work really well. Plus, it's not fixed on a flat two-dimensional axis. If new types of allegiances crop up that would confer advantages and disadvantages they can always be added in later. GMs could use the system to help customize their c...

Narf sad! Brain broken! Me explain! This Dustman's vehicle now! XD

Seriously, Dustman is way out ahead of the rest of us with this whole game development thing. It's sorta like all we'll be doing now is finishing up the system that Dustman has started for us.

Keep in mind Narf that what we're about here is essentially a creative endeavor, and creativity tends to get messy. Granted, we're going to want the finished product to look nice and neat and polished, but if we're to be creative and come up with something worthwhile we can't be afraid to make a lit...

Comments? How about "Wow!"? You sure have done a lot of development on this system of yours! I think you've just given us a great framework to begin building on! About the "Bananamancers", I looked up a couple of different foreign versions of the word "yellow" on Babel Fish and these are the ones I ...

The pace suits me alright. Sometimes I get to where it takes my brain a couple of days to kick over and come up with something to post, so this pace works for me.

Personally, I was never very good at hiding my geek side. Never really tried very hard either. It earned me a lot of teasing back in school. I decided I was okay with being weird, but it can be pretty lonely when you're the only weirdo in school. On the other hand, not being afraid to do my own thin...

*nods* Yeah. Extremists make any side sound evil. There's even middle-of-the-road extremists! Extreme moderates can be just as scary as extreme liberals or extreme conservatives! *shudders* Politics makes people crazy.
