Ok, thanks for the tips. But, I've tried just about every combination with the <div>, <body>, and ***advertisement*** tags that I could think of. It still gets rid of the comic. What else could I be doing wrong?

I'm having a slightly different problem. Instead of taking the ad down, it puts another one up. There's one ad at the top that's hard-coded in, and when I try to remove it and replace it with the ***advertisement*** tag it gets rid of not only the second ad, but also the comic image.
