as you already know, I'm working on my piece already, but I do have a quick question for you, Lewis- Does Carter know any martial arts? How did he learn to fight?

I see. The idea certainly makes sense. So one ought to use the power they have been given to do good things. Of course, a questions beg to be asked. The concept of using your talents and abilities for good seems, at first glance, to be taken for granted in most modern systems of morality. In an age ...

Might for Right, Eh?

So examining your Deviantart link to the picture of the mighty, I found your brief statement on "Might for Right;" the code you hold yourself to. Care to explain it a bit more?

Actually, I think I'd appreciate it more if Carter was becoming severely depressed. Afterall, he's between ideologies with nobody else to really relate to in the world. I could seriously see the real Carter begin to fall apart as the Lightbringer gains power, showing the toll his lifestyle has on hi...

Man, if Carter were slowly going insane, this I'd say it would be at least a 34% boost. But as it stands, 25% is alright. I mean, feeling bad about his deceased family's ideology, while still contradicting it in action is one thing, but having the emotional tole take him over the deep end? Now that'...

I'm going to guess short, combed hair?

To be honest, I'm not entirely fond of the darkbringers outfit. He has a nice white shirt, A TIE, a nice black vest....then elbow length gloves and padded armor on his arms. What exactly is the concept behind him?

It seems that I've missed out on a great debate up until now. Oh well. where do I begin? I have a hard time elevating anything up to an absolute. Afterall, humans are simple minded creatures, and I find that the more we assume we know, the more we trap ourselves in our own minds. Again Lewis, I find...

the only reason I say that no human can ever acheive a perfect moral standard is because, save religion, no human being ever has. If you can prove me wrong, then by all means. But somehow I don't believe that humanity and perfection can coexist within the same form.

Oh dear, it seems there's a spotlight on me. I think I might see where the problem within this discourse lies. Sun Tzu sees a different definition of "best" than Linkara does. Tzu naturally equates the term "better," with more moral, whereas Linkara equates it with more pragmatically beneficial. Sim...

Keep in mind, that when striving for the ideal, that we do not live ideal lives. Except for specific individuals within certain religions, there has not ever been an example of a perfect human being. While it is good to seek the ideal, one must always remember that one is fighting a losing battle, i...

I need to watch this forum more, I miss good philosophical conversation. To a certain degree, you remind me of Kant, Louis. Specifically, in his belief that one never really encountered a moral dillema, because it was impossible to reach a point where two morals would ever actually go against one an...
