Re: Off Topic Chit-Chat

We have a Sharif's office around here that gives free gun handling lessons to anyone who has a concealed weapons permit.

Re: Off Topic Chit-Chat

You wouldn't have much trouble getting me to go. I love guns. My final speech in my college "public speaking" class was about the carrying of hand guns for self defense. I got an A, even though I could tell the teacher didn't agree with the content of my speech. That's part of what keeps me coming b...

Re: Other Webcomics

I plan to keep it that way. I have a disdain for profanity, and my faith won't let me use sex. But, toilet humor and cartoon violence are fare game. While some of my Christian friends have shaken their heads at me, I’ve never found anything sinful about it. It’s funny; I can't watch "Faces Of Death"...

Re: Off Topic Chit-Chat

It's always good to hear from someone who's reading my comics. It lets me know my comics are not just falling into the abyss.

You have given me motivation. Thank you

Re: Other Webcomics

No I've never read it, but I have heard of it. Milholland is obviously putting in a lot of work. That's quite an archive to say the least.

Thanks for the forum entry

Re: Survival Tips For Growing Up In A Large Family

My little brother was the first one to have the saliva idea. Being the smallest (at the time) he had to rely on manipulation rather than muscles to get his way. We wouldn’t really "spit" on our choice peace. In reality we would just lick and/or poke whatever peace of food we wanted to lay claim to. ...

two brothers and a sister

I had two brothers and a sister. That may not sound like a lot but keep in mind; the three of us boys shared the same small room. I really mean small. There was about two foot of space between the bed and the bunk beds. We also shared the same dresser and the same closet. Later we also had to squeez...

personal experience

Yes, the survival tips are one of my more inspired features, and believe me when I say; they come from personal experience.

I look forward to talking with you more. Come back any time.

naivety

She will make the mistake of taking things too literally at first. It's part of the naivety that comes with being a kid. But she is smart enough to catch her mistakes soon enough. The sarcastic side of her personality doesn't come out unless someone is going on about something that she finds juvenil...

characters' description page

After putting 130 comics on my site, I've finally decided on a cast of regular characters. I don't plan to stick to them exclusively. My comic will still be rather scatter brained, but they'll give me a theme to come back to. I've even added a characters' description page to my site. Please let me k...

taking K&K way too seriously

I think some of you are taking K&K way too seriously. Please don’t forget: It’s only a comic strip. What are you going to do next? Try to figure out how snoopy can sleep on top of a peak roofed dog house without falling off? Bill Holbrook lives here in Norcross Georgia not more than 30 miles from me...

First off, THANK YOU for writing something in my forum. I was starting to consider taking my forum down. I made the fast food story for an anthology published by Purrsia Press (a local mini comics publisher). I was only allotted five pages, and so it forced me to cramp the story, and made for some r...

No I don’t have a girlfriend at the moment, and I actually wouldn’t mind having one. That is unless you were just making a joke which is probably the case.

Thank you all

Thank you all for the nice complements and critiquing. You all took time out to read my comics and type your critiques. I’m honored. You’re right about the background. It’s very old and needs to be updated anyway. The fast food story was a 5 page story I was submitting to Purrsia Press to put on an ...

logging into the Site Admin

I’ve had my site for months now with no problem logging into the Site Admin, but a few weeks ago I started getting this message: I’m not tech savvy enough to know what to do, but I did notice that it said Firefox was working. So, I downloaded Firefox and tried to log in to my Site Admin using Firefo...

Need some constructive critiquing

I have 73 comics in my archive now, and I think I’m ready for another constructive critiquing session. Also, my comic material is very out-there, almost random. I’d like to find the parts that “click” so that I can narrow it down. I have a forum on my webcomic’s site that only one person has used. I...
