They also tended to DIE a lot younger, something you didn't mention. I'm rather tempted to think that it's similar to shelf life - a human body, no matter how well you treat it, is only good for so many units of time/effort. They died younger for two major reasons. 1: The political climate hosted a...

Frankly, I don't think plate armor is that attractive. Even if it doesn't weigh a ton, it's still encumbering, limiting your movement. Not only does it not provide protection against things like electric bolts, it would actually make you slower to dodge so you'd be more vulnerable to them. I guess ...

If Q of Ridgedale was enough of a rogue to have an illegitemite daughter, would someone as moral and ethical as Q of Freeman Downs look up to him so? Because history has a way of leaving out the negative details on their heroes. Just look at the US's past. We completely villainize our enemies, and ...

I rest easy in the knowledge that I was right about why Kes bashed him in the first place.
I had that habit, too, when I was younger.

An emetic is a medicine that induces vomiting. It's a handy (If unpleasent) way to get alcohol out of someone's body if they're very drunk.

Like. It's a Sober Up pill that also punches you in the gut repeatedly for ten minutes.

Pay close attention to Quentyn's expression in the third-to-last panel. Hmm. You got a point. And Kess is eyeing him, too. Now that I think about it, she probably whacked him to knock out any notions that he 'triumphed' over Rahan in this encounter, so it wouldn't get to his head as a false victory...

Kess smacked Quenty to remind him of something. The 'What, I didn't do anything' 'Exactly, try and remember that' exchange is pretty clear. Given what Rahan was doing when he lost his balance (Making fun of Quentyn), an insecure guy like Quentyn would feel guilty. Kess was reminding him that he didn...

Hm... Another possibility comes to mind... Rayhan dies. And his dying words are a satanic smart bomb, programmed with Quentyn's GPS coordinates, loaded with a payload straight from the father of lies itself, designed specifically to hit Quentyn with the lie he is most vulnerable to. You're a cruel,...

Well, if Rahan gets injured, even if it isn't permanent, he'll get a shot at seeing just how irritating Quentyn's position is. It's not like Quenty likes it when people feel sorry for him or think he can't do anything worthwhile. That's one of the convictions that drove him so strongly to become Que...

Well, honestly, Rahan did fall out all by himself. He is a man, after all. The problem is he's drunk like a man and while he was making an idiot of himself up in that tree, he lost his drunk balance. I have to wonder if there's gonna be any permanent injury from that kind of landing, though... Might...
