As what Fergie says registers, Lauril looks up, confused. "You're walking? Why- oh. You... wouldn't have a ride, would you? Well, ummm... I'm not actually going to be able to stick around, myself. But I do have a car, and I'd be happy to give you a ride there. In fact, anyone who needs a ride would...

Here's a video of the airstrike in question: http://hotair.com/archives/the-blog/2006/06/08/video-zarqawi-airstrike/ Originally from Centcom but reposted at Hotair. Further: American ABC TV reported that "Zarqawi was apparently injured at first ... The Americans found him. They handed him over to th...

Hey, Tbolt, I don't suppose Piotr would be interested in checking out a Terran Mark-39 plasma rifle? Yeah, I thought not :) I'm thinking Fergie might meet some interesting neighbors sometime in the next few RP days. Any takers? :...

[quote="Earl McClaw" and "Kerry Skydancer"]"Well, if it takes a while to get my bike fixed, I may take you up on that. But I really shouldn't hang around too long. That boar fellow might recover his nerve." Skydancer laughed. "Gus? He's mostly hot air and bluster. A bully, but he's not very talented...

Listen, I don't like to judge people, but I have to say that that's the stupidest damn thing I've ever heard. That's the kind of thinking that makes a woman into a bitter old hag and a man into a lazy blob. Any woman who tries to control a man like that is an abuser, as surely as a man who beats hi...

Thanks for the rundown. I try to keep up on foreign politics as well as national, so I appreciate your info. I've actually heard of Dr. Simi before, though I can't recall where... You Americans have it easy. So this November, do your country a favor and vote. Easy... well, it won't be very easy if w...

Several years ago in a NYC winter, some PETA, anti-fur moron ran up to a man wearing a nearly full length fur coat with a black squirt-gun that looked like a Beretta. It was filled with red ink or dye and this genius' plan was to spray it on the guy and ruin the coat. Problem with this plan: The "t...

The problem with the electric full-autos is that they don't have the same muzzle velocity as the gas powered. And the gas powered ones are much more expensive. Still, my electric G36K is nice and intimidating. My RA had lived in Japan for a summer, and he had picked up his gas-powered MAC...

Ooh, full-auto airsofts are fun. During college, my dorm had a problem with a "streaker". One night he was streaking in the hallway and my RA brought out his full-auto MAC-10 airsoft, switched the selector to "rapid-fire" and chased the streaker down the hall with a stream of stinging plastic pellet...

At the Merry Poppins Reference, Mac chuckles and shrugs sheepishly. He remains silent throughout most of the conversation, until the mention of the chimera. "That's ancient Greek mythology, right? Isn't it an amalgamation of several different constituent creatures? Or are you speaking metaphoricall...

I hear that. Although an AR-15 chambered for .50 Beowulf is probably the next best thing. Ballistically, though, I understand the Beowulf's like a mortar. Fires straight for 200-300 yards then drops like a rock. Still, a .50 assault rifle would be quite the toy for waking up unwary shooters at the ...

At Captain Ferguson's mention of aliens, Omega's ears perk up. "These aliens... they wouldn't be Viledarians, would they? But wait a minute... you said they're attacking Earth in the future, right? So, the Viledarians I've been worried about following me can't succeed in taking over the Earth, righ...
