Oh ... this is interesting. Nivali is a protagonist. Looks like Queequeg's journey to retrieve that Lard guy was totally pointless (I was hoping someone would pick up on it).

Noisily whacking in the rest of the nails for the door, Queequeg pulled a live, squawking chicken out, waved it so Brodi could see it, and ran off to the kitchen. he tossed the mallet over his shoulder, which conked somebody in the noggin as he disappeared.

Pushing the door back into place, Queequeg set about fixing its broken hinges. He reached into his coat for an electric drill, but suddenly realized it hadn't been invented yet and quickly stuffed it away in favor of regular tools.

There was a loud crash as Queequeg, having taken Brodi's advice to use the door, smashed it in using a sheep as a battering ram (once again no telling how he'd gotten from the street to the hallway in the span of five seconds). He handed the surprisingly unharmed animal over to Jasmine. ((pun intend...

A live sheep flew up and hit the window.

Down in the street, a horse-drawn carriage zigzagged their way, knocking things over in its wake. Queequeg reigned in the horses and climbed atop the carriage to stand under Jasmine and Brodi's window (no telling how he knew it was theirs). He tossed up a coin to get their attention.

With the letter Emory had written hanging from his mouth where he'd been chewing on it, Queequeg watched Scalik meander over to Brodi. The drink he'd just consumed had transformed him into a circus clown, complete with makeup, frilly costume, and big round nose. He glanced at Jasmine and hiccupped.

Stumbling over to Jasmine's table, Queequreg happily snatched one of the green drinks and headed for Skalik again. He'd only gotten halfway when he realized he was already drunk.
