Ooh can I chime in too? 1. Blatant tasteless profanity. Now there are times with profanity is tasteful and times when it isn't. If I can believe that the character would say something obscene such as a character in Penny Arcade then yes it fits. In my own comic I stick to Sod, Bugger, Hell and a fic...

My own views. I see some good and I see some bad. The good 1. We americans could use a good example of work ethic. 2. Tacos are friggin' awsome 3. I have met some HOT latino girls in my life the bad 1. ENGLISH MOTHERFNARDER! DO YOU SPEAK IT? 2. If you want benefits pay some friggin taxes. 3. Please ...

I have actually read the zombie survival guide and I've formed a plan. 1. I am pretty good with melee weapons including a sword, knives, staff, pole arms, and bludgeons. With guns I'm a bit rusty but in close quarters guns will probably just get you killed anyway. 2. Identify the outbreak. Small sca...

I also posted this on the Keenspace General forum but I thought I'd throw it here where Corgan can spot it after his most recent dirt nap.
(I am now almost certain he is a vampire)

The mid strip bunny ears joke is probably more valid to we older guys whom were born prior to the advent of cable tellevision. I really do like how the art came out in this strip, and from here on I think you'll see a drastic climb in art quality leading up to the style change in the next chapter. N...

More stuff - I get paranoid if someone stares at me, or even looks at me for too long. - Because of above I've started collecting offensive pins for my hat, so I can quietly tell such staring people what I think of them. - I push myself way too hard and still call myself lazy. - I should be sleeping...

I've been in the same situation two weeks back. Just after my last class of the day my chest started hurting. It got pretty severe at one point and I began driving toward the hospital when my left arm started feeling weird. On the way I let out a large healthy belch and everything went away. Aparent...

Right. The reason manga is printed right to left is nothing stylistic, it's strictly utillitarian. Japanese is traditionally written in vertical colums descending top to bottom and the colums are read right to left (kind of like hebrew or arabic) This is pretty common for most eastern languages. But...

Living in the deep south I can clarify the Cookie/biscuit debate. Biscuits are a large flaky bread shaped simillar to a roll but much softer and lighter. They can be served plain or with something on them such as jelly/jam, fruit, butter, cream cheese, honey, syrup, or my personal favorite....Gravy....

yeah the old thread was getting kind of big so I started a new one. I'd like to point out two tiny new links I've been meaning to add. Lightbringer and XKCD are now in the links section. they're at the bottom of webcomics. Text only right now until I get some banners for them. Also check the store. ...

I do wish I'd adjusted the contrast more on this strip, but otherwise I"m happy with the way the art came out, especially the gigantic third panel. This of course marks the first instance of Penelope showing any bit of a backbone. Believe it or not she's acutally pretty tough when she needs to be. B...

Am I the only one who doesn't think he's all that good? He's not terrible either mind you and his style is unique but it's not Davinci or anything. There are plenty of less popular comics out there with far better art. Penny Arcade is what it is. A cultural icon that attained its status through the ...

It was a solid music video and great choice of song too. I didn't think you could do a solid music vid with just stills. The zooming effects were good too but the wipes are a bit ameturish. When aren't wipes ameturish though? Seriously why do they even exist? Thankfully no bold yellow text like a lo...
