That was totally understandable. High spirits ect.. I think the media totally blew it out of porportion though. I mean live and learn.. sheesh. Oh, absolutely, I don't mean to condemn. There's few people out there who wouldn't have done exactly the same thing in her situation, including myself. One...

So I was watching the Olympics tonight, and saw the snowboarding finals...yeah, can you guys BELIEVE how the USA girl (John-Ellis? I don't remember her name at the moment) finished--or rather, screwed up her finish? So classic it's almost cliche....pride indeed sometimes literally goeth before a fal...

I know a fellow who, whenever he GM-ed, would make our resident rogue paranoid every single time she rolled spot and he said "You don't see any traps."

Did the same thing with locks, i.e. "You don't see any traps on the locks."

Good times, man.

*gasp* I know one of the couples in those portraits! Brock and "Bethie" were good friends of mine before they graduated last year! It was the hat. That's Brock's trademark hat...he wore it absolutely all the time, and even gave Beth his old hat to match. Awwww! And as far as Valentine's Day goes, al...

Never attempt to nuke an incorrigible punster. Radiation only incorriges them. Besides, I believe it was Spider Robinson who once said that the beauty of any pun is in the OY! of the beholder. "o/` When you are swimming in the sea and something bites you on the knee, that's A MORAY..." And when you...

Ah yes. But he's always willing to rise to the occaision. After all, after being cooped up in a drafty old castle, he's sure to want a slice of life, and maybe meat new people. So, you're saying he's a cut above the rest, able to slice through all the pompous traditions and customs? A man like that...

C4 is so stable and safe that IRL I've heated a large can of Hormel Chili over a 4oz ring of C4 that I'd set afire. That's the equivalent of cooking with about 10 sticks of 86% Dynamite. :o The chili tasted great and I'm STILL here! :D S'aaruuk Your chili always did have a 'kick' to it. Although I'...

I just think it's attractive to find a forum where puns, intelligent humor and introspective conversation reigns instead of the "sqweee OMG!" inanity or biting nastiness that I've found in oh-I-don't-know-how-many other Internet forums. It's both refreshing and inviting. Then again, it's often the ...
