Well, really, Celi, it's a function of human stubborness and stupidity, indirectly speaking. I mean, ...

Personally, I'm fine... as long as I know my limits. One, fine. Two, okay. Three, depends on the machine. Four or more? "GAME OVER!" Likewise, I can dance forever, but as soon as I stop for more than a few seconds... <pant, pant, sweat, gasp> Yours truly, The dancing-foolish, Wanderer As Statler sa...

In Scots/Irish history, what made the Scots and Irish so tenacious in battle was mainly that none of them wanted to go home and explain defeat to their wives. -:D Two words: Black Agnes. My favorite historical figure, hands down. Bah, Boudica could whup her butt. In open battle, sure. Point, Solidu...

I have risen from the dead to say this:
And hi, BrockthePaine. Long time, no see! Did ya see the greeting cameo I bought for my fiance? (May 10) He reads the RH Triple-Threat Comics, too, so it worked well. You inspired me.

But the rhymes...oh dear....rhyming "trees" which ends with a "z" sound, with "peace" which ends with an "s" sound? And rhyming "heart" with "not"? Well, either it's not supposed to rhyme, or more likely, it's slant rhyme--basically similar, but not exact rhyme. I like slant rhyme. Yay for crazy-go...

I don't frequent this forum much--pretty much stick to Goblin Hollow--but I just want to say that RH, I almost cried when I read today's comic. Perhaps it's because I'm going through a difficult time myself right now, but the song and the last lines particularly will stick with me for a while. Gives...

Thanks for the advice, Kerry and Mjolnir. We've actually discussed this. A job won't initally be much of a problem, at least for him, since he's going directly into the military as a 2nd Lieutenant. (He's in Army ROTC, and his comissioning is the day before graduation.) And we're not planning...

Happy news
I just wanted to share with you all that earlier tonight one of the happiest events in my life took place. My boyfriend asked me to be his wife. Of course, I accepted, and I don't mind relating that the ensuing kiss was my 'first kiss', as well. The ring is absolutely gorgeous, although it's just a ...

That's the kind of idea that gets you a very pointed receiption, and plenty of claws to reconsider. Well, he's only telling the tooth . Though I'm not fang -ing him for the image,...
