You actually know what's going to happen? Now just because YOU said it, I'm extremely wary and dying of curiosity all at the same time!

This reminds me of a scene from one of the Stargates. An ominous scene. Because, like Star Trek, whenever Col.'s McNeil, Mitchell, or Shepard encounter an empty-looking village, it's very bad mojo. Well, really, Celi, it's a function of human stubborness and stupidity, indirectly speaking. I mean, ...

Now, I'm thinking probably elf too, but the ear-shadows remind me of Bottom from "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Now a human with a donkey head would be interesting...a real asset to the party.

Speaking of which, yes, Madmoonie, I concur. This guy's going to be the first of Quentyn's companions.

Personally, I'm fine... as long as I know my limits. One, fine. Two, okay. Three, depends on the machine. Four or more? "GAME OVER!" Likewise, I can dance forever, but as soon as I stop for more than a few seconds... <pant, pant, sweat, gasp> Yours truly, The dancing-foolish, Wanderer As Statler sa...

In Scots/Irish history, what made the Scots and Irish so tenacious in battle was mainly that none of them wanted to go home and explain defeat to their wives. -:D Two words: Black Agnes. My favorite historical figure, hands down. Bah, Boudica could whup her butt. In open battle, sure. Point, Solidu...

Oh, dear. That's not the song from The Swan Princess, is it? That song was the only good thing in that movie.

Well, aside from Speed. Speed rocked.

But both Odette and Prince Derek qualified for characters for this video game.

Hmph. Well, Japanese games certainly are different, no "and's", "if's", or butts about it. Just a$$ anyone who's played one.

And hi, BrockthePaine. Long time, no see! Did ya see the greeting cameo I bought for my fiance? (May 10) He reads the RH Triple-Threat Comics, too, so it worked well. You inspired me. :)

But the rhymes...oh dear....rhyming "trees" which ends with a "z" sound, with "peace" which ends with an "s" sound? And rhyming "heart" with "not"? Well, either it's not supposed to rhyme, or more likely, it's slant rhyme--basically similar, but not exact rhyme. I like slant rhyme. Yay for crazy-go...

I don't frequent this forum much--pretty much stick to Goblin Hollow--but I just want to say that RH, I almost cried when I read today's comic. Perhaps it's because I'm going through a difficult time myself right now, but the song and the last lines particularly will stick with me for a while. Gives...

Ah, yes, the Sci-Fi Channel commerical. My mother detests that commerical in particular. Thinks it's one of the most disgusting things she's seen on TV yet.

My personal favorite is a close call between the butterfly lady, the office worker who sprouts wings, or the cute guy and the penguin.

Thanks for the advice, Kerry and Mjolnir. We've actually discussed this. A job won't initally be much of a problem, at least for him, since he's going directly into the military as a 2nd Lieutenant. (He's in Army ROTC, and his comissioning is the day before graduation.) And we're not planning...

Happy news

I just wanted to share with you all that earlier tonight one of the happiest events in my life took place. My boyfriend asked me to be his wife. Of course, I accepted, and I don't mind relating that the ensuing kiss was my 'first kiss', as well. The ring is absolutely gorgeous, although it's just a ...

And, of course, there is the dreaded 100-sided die.

And yes, I had a friend who played with one. It was fun to bat around the table, like a kitty. Which my roomie at the time and I gleefully did. :D
