And maybe he'll learn what every adventure should know. Always carry a back up weapon. It may not be you're favorite blade, but a dagger is better than nothing. Better yet have redundant backups. A dagger or two, maybe a club, anything to keep you from being totally screwed when you lack you're prim...

That and probably one of the most annoying Munchkin alignment/class combinations: True Neutral Cleric, he can bless, and curse all at the same tie, heal and inflict pain. This is why I never allow true neutral, had a bad experience with a TNC. All clerics can both heal and inflict, as dealing damma...

Another point to bear in mind is that "Lawful" doesn't necessarily imply strict adherence to the laws of whatever country you happen to be in at the moment. If that were the case, a Lawful character could potentially flip-flop between alignments whenever they crossed a border. You can reject a part...

Personally, I don't accept "neutral" as a legitimate alignment. There's no such thing as someone who is neither good nor evil. True neutrality is impossible--- either your actions foment good or evil. And self-centredness--- refusal to align with any system of law, any code of morality--- is not a ...

Most Druids are true neutral, as are lizardfolk. I've never seen someone powergame by using both holy and unholwy or lawful and chaotic weapons. The average munchking is ususally either CN or N(or)CE, eratic and may or may not be entirely bloodthirsty. One must also remeber that actions speak louder...

Munchkin != True Nuetral. Most Druids are NN. NN means you have no leaning to law, chaos, good, or evil. NN does not seek to harm others as evil does, nor does it seek to benefit others as good does. NN is neither favoring law nor chaos, it respects legtimate authority, bust isn't necessarily going ...

Mmm, vorpal scythe, makes for impressive immagery, but unless you have a may to increaces the crit range not that good. It crits on 20,for x4, which is a mess of dammage, at a decent level enough to trigger death by massive pottetnially. Vorpal would have been so much better on something like a kukr...

Meh, I always used geek and nerd as basically synononmous, but I just about never use nerd anyways. The words don't have a clear-cut meaning, they're just mean you do things which would be considered 'geeky'. The attached chart lists alot of things which would be considered geeky, and their realtive...

Meh, the base mechanics of the game aren't that bad, its jsut alot of rolling D20s, and if you play as a beatstick fighter type you have some complications you don't have to worry about as much. *responding to the half dragon thing." Grrr, I hate people who do that, one guy in my thurdsay campaign i...

Regaugding the mangy comment, a few points: 1: This isn't a totalyl modern setting 2: This is currently in the slums 3: Full body fur is going to be a pain to keep tidy with 1 and 2 So, while you speak the truth of today, 'tis not truly applicable in this setting. I just hope Quentyn grabs Wildcard, and banging repeatidly on heads with the flat side of the sword. Many times, in fact. See, if it is the flat side of the sword, less death and dying, but still very able to inflict pain. Its beautiful. Someone is going to get curious when Quentyn gets there. His ...

We don't know he is a gang member, he could easily be some dumb kid who wore the wrong color (sorta like how quenty got his sword stolen in the first place, the wrong color drawing unwanted attention.) Additionally from what we've seen of gang members they tend to wear their color a bit more promine...

Granted Quenty has a shoody reputation, but the fact that he saved a kit may make up for that. Who are you going to believe, a kit or three obvious thugs?
