Quoted from above mentioned link: "Praise Limbaugh, y'all! The Right Brothers stoke up the right-wing pyre and throw the liberals on the flames. Hum along as The Right Brothers testify in this love song to all things Bush. Can I get an Amen?!" Hahaha! I find it hilarious to listen to both conservati...

Wow, what a trying time. You and your dojo are in my prayers. I'm sure the Lord will take care of the situation and bless your martial arts group, no matter if y'all haveto move or not. ^.^ Out of curiosity, what martial arts is it?

Draco's got it right. You need something to push against to tack. Balloons -always- float with the wind. To tack an airship requires propellors (or jets) to provide a force vector in some other direction than the wind. A ground drag would work, but eliminate most of the use of being an airship. A r...

OT: Bad news and a prayer request.

*hangs her head in shame* I was a compleate and utter idiot, fool, and very very sorry (ie; sad, pathetic) person on Saturday. I somehow managed to compleatly miss a stop-sign on my way to work and hit the rear tire side of a mini-van. :cries: :ashamed: :depressed: :upset: After yelling at myself, a...

Well, at this point they're filming the action sequences.... not the dialogue or plot. You have to remember, movies aren't filmed in order. They bounce from scene to scene depending on circumstances. This director is choosing to film the action scenes first... and without any context, all an...

I'm sure even Ralph has his limits when it comes to arming citizens. A lot of citizens could afford a FAE bomb or tacnuke, or a lab to manufacture altered viruses, but I can't see Ralph proposing to put them on the market. Now, where would Wildcard fall on that spectrum, I wonder. Highly specialize...

Re: Forgetting something important

I doubt that the writer would say that if Quentyn of Ridgedale had as much ability in magic as Rillcreek (unless his hat lies). Check the 2nd strip at the very beginning of the Questor series. Quentyn of Ridgedale is thusly discribed: "and although no wizard, was a skilled master of magic." (emphas...

I would write them a very polite reply, saying that since it was not put before the entire council, he simply could not consider it. Once that was done, and a public record of the offer was made, he would respond to it. He then goes through Questor law and when called again, blasts the proponents b...
