Actually, with the lux-dart crossbow, I'd say he's at least moderately well-armed.

Plus, his sword seems to come to him when he needs it most - I'm thinking that, secured at the Artificer's School or not, it may be making an appearance shortly...

Good question, since we know she and Tuck are approximately the same age...recall the swimmin' hole incident that gave Tuck his intense dislike for reporters.

Okay, the flaky Wiccan I was referring to is Beltane:

A sterling example of humanity at its most hollow-headed...

[open "can of worms"] You can say that again! When I started this topic, I assumed that most people were aware of the recent attacks against 'religious' references to Christmas promulgated by so-called 'politically correct' groups, including everyone from the ACLU to 'outraged citizens' to t...

I bow in homage to your punmanship.

Better lay off the fishbowl jokes with Shaaruuk - he looks a little walleyed.

I don't know... After about a quarter of a century working in the broadcast TV biz, it's all just background noise that doesn't register any more - until it goes away or is replaced by "Shhhhhhhhhhhh"! Either of those events generally means I have to go fix something. Ah, yes - the famous 'white no...

Semi non-corporeal? Isn't that something like a third lieutenant? (groan) Non-corporeal is like a ghost or phantasm. I use the term "semi" because they can be completely solid and interact with everything around them or they can dematerialize and pass thru solid objects etc. at will. Ghosts ...

Actually, I'm not sure patching up the hole is the smartest thing to do - I'd set some sort of trap to see if I could catch (or at least see) whatever was coming up. Also, how did the hole get there in the first place? What made it, and who patched it? If Squidge had to break the patch to get throug...

I've seen church get-togethers where the men arranged for the food...they're either catered or you have to peel the UPC labels off to get the containers open! :D

Same here - I get the three pages with no sign of Hortense.

Since the auction was only started today, I find it very hard to believe that the picture has already been sold (unless someone made an offer Ralph couldn't refuse...)

Re: Elevator?

Ben is now getting that "Boy was I dumb!" feeling... And Lily is jus' LOVIN' it!!!! Look at the crossed arms and the self satisfied smile plastered on her face as she "explains" this to Benn! I mean she COULD have mentioned the elevator BEFORE Ben and the tiger (WTH is his name anyhoo?) busted a nu...

One more point to consider - the pool table was owned by a BEAR. I think the pool table was already in the manor or was in the museum as memorabilia from some movie, "The Hustler" maybe. Pool tables, especially slate base ones are pretty expensive and Ben didn't have that much to spare. Plus, I can...
