Glenda. (Edit - Argh. Ya beat me to it, LoneWolf!) I have a request - can we PLEASE not start the pros and cons of Pagans versus Christianity again? Starcat - if you REALLY want to see some in-depth discussion (and flame wars) regarding this issue, please check out the two recently locked topics (lo...

Actually, Max, you seem to be on a different page than the rest of us. The problem is NOT confined to the Millfolk granaries... http://npc.keenspace.com/d/20041027.html Lord Millfolk clearly states that he thinks the brownies have disappeared from all the granaries. The problem is widespread, but it...

Ah, the house is probably hollow, made out of balsawood and has no base. The door will no doubt fall open and we'll see her inside, soaking her knickers, but otherwise uninjured.

Boy, did HE pick the wrong webcomic to read!!

What we really need in this country are a few clear-headed people, maybe 9 of them or so, to have an official position in the government where all they do is make sure that the people's rights aren't infringed. They'd have to be free of political influence, of course... I'm not sure I trust the peo...

To paraphrase an old saying - Quentyn's mind is his most dangerous weapon.

By the time this is over, he's going to get a lot less laughter and a lot more respect.

Now, I hope that all tempers in this forum have calmed down. I don't mind discussing views, but things have been tending to get a bit out of hand lately. Anyone for pie? I'll take a slice... :) I'll admit, I was getting a little angry there for a while yesterday evening. I enjoy a lively discussion...

Lady Millfolk did say that the rest of the house was blacked out - that's why the bell didn't ring when Colin pulled it. As for whether any more wights are running around - your guess is as good as mine, although I wouldn't be surprised. I think Quentyn will be relatively safe - it was pointed out t...

One can CHOOSE to take offense, or one can let someone else's opinions blow past like a fart in the wind. I suggest you pass gas at someone else - it's 1:00 AM where I'm at and I have to work in the morning. Good night and pleasant dreams.

Tell me something --- At what point do the people of a country take repsonsibility for the actions of thier government?? Let's turn your question around - the US government HAS accepted responsibility for the soldiers who tortured Iraqi prisoners, and they are being punished. Another thing - does t...

500 years ago, being non Christian was enough to be burned at the stake, and in some countries, it still IS. However, it was not thru mass bloodletting, mass slaughter of Christians that this was changed --- now was it? No - it was through an outbreak of sanity and the Age of Reason that the killin...

One more thing: RK - I do not agree with your views. It is every person's right, however, to express their own opinion, and screaming at them because you do not agree with them is not conducive to changing their mind. One person has already been removed from this forum tonight for being 'overly enth...

Yes, I freely admit, many of the actions done by the terrorists in both countries have been beyond sadistic --- but that gives the Americans the God Given Right to be equally dirty pool? No, it doesn't. The actions of a few individuals (who MAY have been following orders, which is no excuse) have t...

Anyone care to refer him to the appropriate strip? :D Would you be referring to this one, by any chance? http://nipandtuck.keenspace.com/d/20001012.html RK - you have your opinions, and I have mine. Ahhh... So, the words of your National Anthem give you the "God Given Right" (please note dripping sarcasm) to conquer others? Nope. It calls us to fight for JUSTICE ("when our cause it is just..."). Justice for those who cannot speak out against tyranny without being jailed or killed. Justice for ...
