I dunno - most of the left doesn't seem to have any arguments beyond the preschool 'I want it to be this way, or I'll hold my breath until I turn blue!' routine. Actually, IIRC, the Wild Kaarde is actually a ship, owned by one Captain Kaarde. And the spelling on that looks weird to me either way. Karrde? Kardde?

That's kind of an odd number to pick, since a plump woman at average height ('round 5'7") can be easily 180-190.

We were actually discussing differences in writing style, literary inflection, and cultural perceptions in class today. It can be both a frustrating and interesting topic -- my Spanish professor is extremely literal in the way she approaches language, and is insistent that things can NOT be translat...

This is a little random, and I really, really don't want to take sides, but I'm a little confused. "I think we had enough laws about the turn-of-the-century. We don't need any more." Asked how far back would she go to repeal laws, she replied, "Well, before the New Deal...[The Emancipation Proclamat...

And evolution does not "save" proteins that do nothing, because they neither help nor hinder the organism. It is illogical, indeed irrational, to suggest all forty necessary proteins for such a structure were produced and then "saved" in the process of evolution until the structure suddenly appeare...
