Well, there's the obvious answer: there was this guy she was interested in, but the moron completly overlooked her in favor of a ditz with... Shall we say "Huge Drafts of Land"... As a result of this rejection, she's left wondering "What the Hell's wrong with me?" Huge TRACTS of land. (Pytho...

Since one of the characters I role-play is basically a lizard, (actually he's a small dragon,) that third panel I can relate to.

Imagine being a quadropedal dragon 3 feet tall at the tips of the horns, among 5-7 foot tall bipedal hairballs.

Go with it Ralph.

Well, that leaves out Gus and Gilly... Gilly is liberal, which means he'd go nuts trying to be PC with Hortense, and probably end up embarassing himself and ticking her off more than ever Maybe, maybe not. Look how Thelma started out as the "PITA girl" and ended up Tuck's girlfriend and now we ador...

The other thing I noticed is the bat-wings. They'd be even harder to design around than tails, after all.... I always figured that a workable solution for bat clothing would be poncho/serape style garments, or something as simple as a long strip of cloth with a hole for the head, hanging down front...

They way I see it, Hortense has a hard time, being a reptile lady. Simply put, furry is cute, scales...not so much. Remember how Lily cuddled Velvet back in UTLT? Do you think she would've done the same for a lizard? No one's given Morty a hug lately, have they? Reptiles, insects, and vultures, are...

I've never personally met a woman as militantly feminist as she is, but a couple have come close. :) It can be difficult to "play" a female, if one is a male, like most of us (including Ralph) are. All too often whe...
