Did anyone else pick up on the idea that if Hortense has a cousin, it means there IS a second reptile family in the area. And there might be some unrelated male reptiles, too.

I love Lily's line - "...do you really want to know the answer to that question?"

Hope Penny is silly enough to answer "yes" to that.

I have faith in America. The real people of America are at our best when something like this happens. Of course I'm also a cynic about the left trying to blame this on Bush somehow.

New Orleans has been having terrible problems with Formosan termites. Looks like the city just got THAT problem solved. Maybe a new city would have been needed anyway.

Hair we go again. You need to be shown the follicle of your ways. That three-year-old is a reptile, so you judge her on a different scale.

Homosexuality may not be a choice, but what a homosexual does IS a choice. THAT was the point. Throughout history, people both gay and straight have been celibate or found alternate avenues for sexual energy.

I doubt Lily's sexual interests run far from vanilla. I doubt they need to. I'm certain that their mutual affection is well manifest and known to each other. Kinkiness generally operates under novelty, a lack of percieved affection, or the thrill of the taboo. "Whatever floats your boat." Even vani...

this whole thing reminds me of an old strip burried deep in one of the largest archives I've seen, but I managed to dig it up :D here :o I lost interest in that strip after the 2004 elections when the creator whined that "the ...

Any bets on how many times Zelda out-thinks / out-maneuvers Gus before we go on to something else? If Ralph comes up with some good ones, it might even develop into a running gag. Look at how the last episode wrapped up the story line, and add the fact that Ralph is on hiatus to finish the new CD. ...

Too many people don't really get to know the other person before marriage, figuring if it doesn't work out, they can always divorce. My wife and I had to take several months of classes from our church before we could get blessing to marry in the church, and some of the things were real eye-openers. ...

Except that Gus is an adult, and like the poem you used, he can choose how he will act. He didn't have to call the station and rag on "Belle" but he chose to, so he can't complain about what comes back at him for it. Unless you are totally brain damaged (literally) it doesn't MATTER what your childh...
