I think I've finally worked out how that thingy works. Trouble is, checking it's worked requires clicking refresh many, many times 'til my Newsbox come up. Which means if it hasn't, I'll be stuck doing it forever. Ho-hum. EDIT: Oh, hang about, on Gear it says "Scroll to the bottom of the page. You s...

A combo of a) newness and b) I don't actually have an explicit hypertext link to my e-mail address so much as a "semi-cryptic" one to confuse spambots means I've yet to receive any feedback, be it positive, constructive or negative. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Based on my Team 17 Forums avatar. It's me as a Worm Scientist complete with Nuke Goggle. Though it bares no actual resemblence to me, it's basically my primary online "look", as it were.

I'm a big OOTS fan (and a rookie in the world of D&D. I actually started to read OOTS before I began playing, just that I have a friend who's really into D&D, so I'd picked up a lot of the terminology beforehand). It's a nicely conceived parody, and the stick-figure art is great fun.

HAHAHA! Go here to read the reviews of a Family Circus book. As a joke, people get really deep about it. The best part is when someone thinks they're all being serious about reviewing this compelling piece of literature and images. My goodness. I'm no stranger to verbose language, but "deconstructi...

I actually rather like Garfield, although admittedly I haven't read many of the latest strips. My approach is to read the books that come out, particularly the "Classics" ones that are three-in-ones. I'm up to around 1998 now, and, fair enough, it does get somewhat repetitive (Mind you, originality ...

Something inside me just makes me want to post this cartoon I did once (before my drawing changed from useless to mediocre): http://img78.exs.cx/img78/269/ppcomic4thwl0fx.jpg I don't mind fourth wall breaking that much, and sometimes it can be used to great effect. I can appreciate how doing it in a...

I totally hated Billy Bob Thornton being cast in that.

This is only my personal opinion, but the anime/manga style does get on my nerves, probably because I primarily grew up on a diet of Looney Tunes and its offspring, and Tom and Jerry. I CAN'T FRIGGIN' STAND PANSY BOY UNIFORMS, SUPERHUMAN ABILITIES, AND MYSTICAL POWERS. THIS GOES FOR ANY GOD DAMNED S...

Re: What influences / inspires your work?

What artist do you admire the most? A tricky one, as I'm not a very arty person at all. Maths and science are my main strengths, although I've dabbled with music, writing and drama. I wouldn't say there's any artist I particularly admire the work of, although I do rather like Paul Kidby's Discworld...

Maybe I'm oversensitive to this sort of thing, but frequent spelling and punctuation errors really, really turn me off a comic, because for me when I see one (confusion of "your" and "you're" really incenses me, and you seem to do it all the time) it's like someone's pulled the emergency cord on my ...
