There's a lot of people decrying the use of "I'm bored, let's start a webcomic!" to begin their strip. I'm just curious, how did you choose to begin your strips? I did this . The main reason this was my first strip is that, back in 2002 when I first had the idea for Boot Camp, it was the first stri...

I recall listening to Tom Lehrer's It Makes a Fellow Proud to be a Soldier a lot while drawing a recent strip. Highly appropriate really.

Given that the vast majority of my music collection is computer game MIDIs, it could be anything.

Underwear | Pants (short for underpants)
Pants | Trousers

I spend most of my time in jogging pants (trousers but made of a similar material to sweatshirts)

Yay for threads that degenerate into random silliness.

Though considering the starting post, random silliness is several steps up...

It may sound nitpicky, but I find it tricky to stomach bad spelling and punctuation. It just breaks the flow of what I'm reading. The other classic problem I spot is when the speech bubbles are badly ordered, which just leaves me going "What?" until I work it out. For me when reading a webcomic, cle...

I've been lucky so far in that I'm an only child and I have had a massed army of parents and grandparents saving up money for me since birth. I realise this is completely useless in the context of this thread, but it's pretty much the only guaranteed way :-/.

At the risk of getting hit with the noob-stick again...I've heard this term quite a bit but haven't been able to put a suitable meaning to it yet... Just what exactly are indie artists, and what's so special they get a group of their own? I have a mental picture of cars racing around a speedway, bu...

As promised earlier: (NB some are better quality than others simply because my drawing style has improved slightly. In particular, I haven't done any strips majorly featuring George or Timothy in ages. Some of my favourites of these pics aren't even up on my site yet, as they are nestling in the str...

Most of the first webcomics I read were vaious ones by my friends at the Team 17 Forums . It's tough to find all the old ones I used to read now, which is a shame, but they were the springboard. I also got into reading sprite comics, particularly Sonic the Hedgehog, which I began to "rediscover" thr...

In any case, aren't both turtles and ducks evolved from dinosaurs? Ducks are, turtles aren't (Both turtles and dinosaurs evolved from a common ancestor. After all, turtles were around at the same time as the dinosaurs). Oh, right, posting up pics of my characters (not like there's anything particul...

1024x768. Annoyingly I have a slight horizontal scroll problem with 800x600, and having my links in a sidebar rather than elsewhere doesn't really help there. Maybe I should work on that a little.

I use it a fair bit, though I worry when I do. Mainly because the way I draw my worms is so inconsistent that copy/paste stands out a mile. Sometimes it works better than others - for example, in this strip I used copy/paste for frames 5 and 6, with a few modifications: http://bootcamp.keenspace.com...
