Waring Colin's room

If the silver thread were buried in the stone floor and ceiling above, would Quentyn have actually be able to "kenn" them in the first place? I'm also pretty sure that Flint, if not Lord Millfolk himself has had all the household staff as well as all mill employees past and present checked out and r...

Tryin' to sleep during the day

I'm a bit surprised that Flint didn't have some form of black-out curtain put on the window so as to darken the room for Quentyn. Flint knew that he'd be sleeping during the daylight hours and should have "arranged things accordingly"*. As to the "odd bed".......Quentyn could pull all the covers off...

-- how would you design lingerie that could be worn by a porcupine without being ripped to shreds the first time she tried to put it on?) Putting it on would be no problem, her quills would lay flat. Taking it off however would be the challenge! As for chain mail, same scenerio only worse.....now t...

TGIF
Not if she can get all the hair care products, especially the "B-52" hairspray in bulk discount.

Anybody here remember a David Cronnenberg film called "Nightbreed"? There was a "porcupine girl" in there who looked really cool. Her name was "Shuuna Sasi".

Now Zelda's just a definite CUTIE lookin like this. Once she sees herself (after they give her back her glasses) I hope this helps her with her shyness.

On rare occasions Survivors Guilt has been so severe that the person commits suicide as a means of "atonement" for wrongfully (at least in their mind) surviving , as well as to "join" his/hers fellow "victims" One such example of this was the suicide of one Major Whittlesey, of "Lost Battalion" fam...

I don't go in for horror myself - there's enough in real life, an' all that... But I'll have to admit that some of the best one-liners I've ever heard were in the "Tremors" movies. "I am COMPLETELY out of ammo! That's... That's never HAPPENED to me before!" The "horror" of, say Michael Meyer...

I've seen his acts live and so help me, he's the ONE person that has actually made me truely believe in magic. I know how a lot of his illusions are done. Although they're variations on es...

Re: Great Special Effects, huh?

You see her get sprayed, and she genuinely looked horrified. That was Angela Cartwright I believe......and it's her vioce you hear saying: "Ahhgh God....!" NOT in the script! What happened was that real (sterile) chickens blood was pumped thru the tubing and one of the tubes popped loose and spraye...

I don't like watching horror movies. If I watch a movie with lots of violence in it, it's usually something with historical or personal significance, such as "The Passion of Christ," "Saving Private Ryan," or "Schindler's List." Since I made friends with a professional FX make-up artist some 20+ ye...

Re: Great Special Effects, huh?

To me, the classics are "Alien" and "Halloween. "After them, it went downhill really fast. Agreed!!! The chest burster scene in 'Alien' was to me the all time best movie SFX. The fact that none of the other actors knew what was going to happen was just the icing on the cake. The fire walk in 'Hallo...

I'm wondering... Perhaps the kid's suffering from the same kind of "Hunter's Guilt" Quentyn had after killing the Gragum? His night terrors being of rats coming to get their revenge... It's not "Hunter's Guilt" that had Quentyn so upset he threw-up....it was more a case of "Suvivors Guilt". He kill...

And yes, Uncle Monty, I know the halibut bit is a classic. I didn't manta resort to such - it's normally against my morays to st-eel puns - but I was still in shark. Let's just hope Sharuuk doesn't decide to carp about it again; he got quite crabby the last time. Maybe I should just clam up. ORRRrr...
