Sorry for the delay, but I've been flat out with a resperatory infection for the past few days. Today was the first day I even considered turning the computer on.

Kyvan turns around and looks Rayne up and down.

"It suits you, ald," he says, "Much better that a soaking wet cloak, anyway. Now, if you feel rested enough, maybe we should discuss your meeting with the wizard."

Kyvan laughs.

"Sorry," he said, "Living alone affects one's brain, I guess."

Kyvan turns around and faces the corner.

It's that whole "analytical thinking" thing that does us in.

So Draco builds the weapons, I build the targets and Aurrin will build the delivery platforms.

Kyvan enters the rom and closes the door.

"Marybeth, the waitress, has a kit your age," Kyvan explains, "She had these laying around from when he stays over here at night."

Kyvan hands the bundle of clothes to Rayne.

"I'm sure you'll feel allot better once you get into something dry."

"It's Kyvan," he says in response to the boy's question, "I have some dry clothes for you."

Ah, another enigineer. Cool. My degree's in Civil Engineering, although that's not the job I have. (Figures.)

Kyvan takes the clothes and heads back to Rayne's room. He gently knocks on the door.

"Rayne," he says, "It's Kyvan. Please open the door."

Kyvan smiles. "Wonderful," he says, "I thank you both. Yes, I think avoid attention would be the best thing for now." Kyvan pauses as he notices the waitress's head pokearound the corner.
