Mythbusters Vs. Tesla
Tonight on Mythbusters they will be putting the infamous Tesla earthquake machine to the test. *conspiracy voice* Even if they bust the myth, we will all know it is actually true, it's just that there are certain people who want us to believe it is just a myth. Well I will be happy, just as long as ...

If pluto is a "double moon," then so is earth. As I recall, earth has the single largest moon in relation to it's own size.... Reclassifying Pluto was just a publicity stunt... and one that has about as much chance of sticking as renaming New York "Metropolis" for Superman's birthday. They'll event...

So, she lost everything from the flooding after Katrina, yet she continues to live there nonetheless. I'll let you folks draw your own conclusions on her mental capacities. Nick, that was rude and inconsiderate, to say nothing of insulting. As you have stated you have Asperger's Syndrome, I'll skip...

And no Ray "Chocolate City" Nagens? Doesn't it just urk you that Mel Gibson gets ostracized for saying something when he was drunk, and saying it to only one cop? While Ray Nagen gets re-elected while saying something when he was stone sober, and saying it to a large crowd in a church? And they sti...

Looks like another tropical stoprm is heading for the biq queasy. Finish the job. Then I can come on and make the city right. 1. The flooded areas stay flooded. It will be a new lake. Lake Dumbidiots 2. Then I buy up the land around it for dirt cheap. 3. Build condos, and make big money. 4. No bums ...

A frozen iceball in the far reaches of the solar system, far away from the mainstream? I vote we call it "Hillary." From Armageddon, the scene where they name the asteroid coming to kill us all. I wanna name her Dottie after my wife. She's a vicious life-sucking bitch from which there is ...

Hear hear, the public school system is a sham. And dumping more money into it will not fix it, each year the teachers scream “more money more money” and when the money is given only a fraction of it goes to education. Most of it is snapped up by the teachers unions to create more bureaucracy jobs fo...

BTW anyone here think this will reek absolute havoc with astronomy and science classes because most schools start within the next 2 or 3 weeks? Not really. I mean, there are going to be some curriculum problems, maybe a few odds and ends where a teacher will have to correct Scantron test machines.....

I have always liked Pluto mind you, was always fascinated by it. A lone planet all out there by itself and an enigma, but as I learned more and more about the nature of the universe I realized it is just another KBO, nothing really special. It was just chance that it was found and was one of the lar...

Goodbye Pluto
Actually glad to see this happen, I have been saying the same thing for years. It was too much of a can of worms to allow Pluto to keep planetary status. We are bound to find larger objects out in the Oort cloud and Kuiper belt, we would end up with dozens more planets eventually.
