What is the Millfolk house made of, anyhow? If it's a human-style wood frame house, Quentyn had better have some fire-extinguishing tricks up his proverbial sleeve, or the Millfolk family may soon soon find themselves wondering if hiring this Questor was such a good idea. I doubt Quentyn could bring...

Actually, GI Joe originally appeared in the 60s, as a rather unglamarous army soldier action figure. He was discontinued sometime in the 70s. Then in the 80s he was revived, this time in a smaller version, and was more a comic-book hero than in his earlier incarnation.

How about the tough female warrior who inexplicably becomes a femme fatale at the critical moment so the man can save her (e.g. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves)?

I don't think The Belfry e-mails updates of strips to subscribers (at least I'm not aware of any such feature, and I'm one of the assistant admins). What the subscription lists are mainly good for are as a one stop page of bookmarks for all the webcomics you want to follow. There is an optional fram...

This discussion reminds me of a saying I once heard somewhere: "I love Jesus, but some of his fan club can be very annoying." Or something to that effect. BTW, I'm a Christian and a Roman Catholic (one of those groups that some radical Christians claim is not Christian. I know otherwise, and if they...

Although I don't much care for Gilbert Gottfried's style of comedy. I do think he was perfectly cast as Iago in Aladdin.

I know what Quentyn can do. To chase of the shadow rats, he can bring in a bunch of shadow cats. But then, how would he get rid of the shadow cats? With shadow dogs, of course. But how would he get rid of... [continues on forever] By any chance, have you been reading a children's book entitled The ...

Funny thing about that, I read that in a lot of southern states, those who marry young are rather prone to divorce. :-? Those who marry in their 20's or older stay together longer. That's probably true just about anywhere. Maybe people in the south do it more often. Or maybe that's just a stereotyp...

There are some people who will complain about a hostile environment, squeal about imposing religious beliefs, and on and on, just because they can, and they know that if push comes to shove, the legal system just might come down on their side (not because they want to, but because some lawyer convin...

So the reverend can tell one kind of lace from another? He must be a lingerie connoisseur. :P Keep in mind that ministers in most faiths can marry (the notable exception being Roman Catholic priests), though I'm not sure about this reverend. In addition, lace is used for other things besides linger...

Having all the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas albums, I notice that too, each album has at least one or two original works, in additition to the older "standards." I have all of them too, and I believe there is only one original song on any of them ( Traditions of Christmas , from A Fresh Aire Chri...

One widely publicized list of "most performed Christmas songs" is produced by ASCAP and only includes songs that are under copyright; conspicuously absent from that list are any of the commonly performed standards that are in the public domain, such as "Silent Night", "The Twelve Days of Christmas"...

Do you remember how I said before, "I wish someone would write some new Christmas carols?" Most Christmas albums produced nowadays have one or more original songs on them, in addition to the classic songs. Many of these songs only work well in their original context or by their original performer, ...

Re: Soundtrack?

To anyone who is wondering, the song is The Eyes of Truth by Enigma. It is on their CD The Cross of Changes. The version on the CD is about three minutes longer than this one, which I suspect is a radio remix.

Okay, while Quentyn seems to be handling the bogey, he had a couple of moments there when its resemblance to green jelly caused him to have some rather ungraceful reactions. We also know that Nessie is en route to Sanctuary, and Oggy seems to be tagging along. If and when she meets her Questor hero,...
