You can always say to him that mean people on keenspace forums totally burried your art into the ground and said that you don't stand a chance, maybe he'll give up himself. Nah, no one was that mean. ^^ However brutal some of the critiques might have been, they were nothing compared to how my art t...

USA writers usually work out camera angles, number of frames on page and such, bringing job of artist to a pure illustrator job. I hate that. I think I could work that kind of collaboration with anyone - untill he pisses me off. One of my friends had very bad experiences when he took drawing a scri...

Your characters don't have any hips. Wow, now I see what was wrong there. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. All the time I've been drawing HR, I've been under the impression that males aren't usually drawn with hips. Just for reference, what's the standard width of the hips for a mal...

HOWEVER...if the writer sees something, he ought to say "This is what I see" and do some kind of layout, rather than going "I hate it." every time the artist brings him a finished product with no rhyme or reason other than "That's not how I saw it." And that's exactly what's been happening. He's ac...

Let me get this right, when you say writer/coartist you really mean girlfriend, right? Because there's no way you should be putting up with this shit from anyone who isn't sleeping with you unless they're the next Neil Gaiman (and let's face it, your girlfriend isn't the next Gaiman). No, no, nothi...

Ah, yes, I was afraid about that with the hips. I knew there was something off about the torsos, but I couldn't tell what.. I never thought of comparing them to the head size first. However, the flat-chested girl look is actually what my writer and I were trying to achieve, as Hiro and a few of the ...

All right, inspired by all the artistic critiques, I put together a new (more recent) drawing of the characters, trying to put a little more emphasis on their individual personalities. Would you mind critiquing it and telling me what I've fixed (artwise) and what I still need to work on? I have it u...

I definitely see the blatant anatomy problems. Hopefully by the end (the last few comics) it has been improving slightly. Hmm, I'm not sure what my coartist/writer was thinking when setting up this comic, but I think he was more going for the pseudo-manga gag-comic with weak plot but lots of little ...

Eek. I see what you mean. I've addressed the story/plot issues to my scriptwriter.

My main concern is the figures/anatomy. Could you provide some specific examples of where I need to improve (such as where the faces are looking flat, or specific problems with anatomy)?

Looking for brutal critique...

Hello. I'm somewhat new to the whole webcomic thing, and I'm looking for a harsh, brutal critique. I mean it. I need someone to be ruthless and tell me exactly what is wrong with my comic, because I've completely run out of ideas. Anyone? Please?

How do I make comic look more anime/manga style?

My coartist and I have been trying in vain for the last few months to make our comic look more like professional manga style, and there always seems to be something missing. The closest we've gotten to success could barely even be called pseudo-manga. Any ideas on how to fix this problem and make it...

About the 25 megabyte limit..

If one were to reach the 25 megabyte limit for allotted account space.. what would one do in order to be able to get more account space? (Besides compressing all of the files and re-uploading them). Thanks in advance.
