Re: Ghosts of Iscariot Past

("Hermaphrodite" is an outdated, inaccurate term, which also has some skeevy sexy SEXY connotations.) Fixed that for you. :D ...dude, seriously, don't be a creep! Intersex people are just that -- people . Not fetish objects. According to Wikipedia, "futanari" is a newer and more polite term than so...

Hey now -- the word for Heinkel is "intersex." ("Hermaphrodite" is an outdated, inaccurate term, which also has some skeevy connotations.)

I'll even give you some hints: they're both from series other than Hellsing, and they've both previously appeared in Shine, albeit very briefly.

Good luck :D

Re: Ghosts of Iscariot Past

Erin-Sama, UPS is saying there's a package I sent to someone who is refusing to sign for it. Agh. I still haven't actually seen the thing. (I did get a notification about a package just this morning, but that wouldn't be yours -- they wouldn't send it back the same day it arrived.) Over the break I...

Re: Ghosts of Iscariot Past

I wonder if Enrico's Crossfire look was a phase he grew out of by the time of Hellsing or it never happened. His look in the Catholicon storyline (glasses, undone bangs) is basically the younger version of the Crossfire look. By the time of Shine, he's upgraded to contacts and pulling back his hair...

Re: Ghosts of Iscariot Past

Are you sure you didn't have Welsh rarebit before bed, Father Maxwell? :P I thought about making that joke, but it already came up in Pip's dream storyline ^_^; Everyone seems to have Scrooge-mania lately, from my creative-writing class to the movies. Maybe the writing class is driven by the movie?...

Ghosts of Iscariot Past

New storyline! It's Christmas-based (in a roundabout way) and Iscariot-focused (in a cracky way). Timothy gets to be cute, Maxwell gets to be megalomaniacal, and valuable holiday wisdom is dispensed to all. Also, if people are having problems with the new layout, please let me know! It'll be most he...

Re: 1, 2, 3, 4, I Declare a World War

By the way, if people are having layout problems, please let me know! It'll be most helpful if you include the following: 1) A detailed description of the problem (what goes wrong, what pages you find it on, etc.) 2) A screenshot of the page (you can upload pictures to tinypic.com if you don't have ...

Re: 1, 2, 3, 4, I Declare a World War

I realize it can be useful to have a standard set of questions to ask, a question like "If Shine were featured in an animated series , what would you imagine it being like?" when this started off as a fancomic of an animated series just makes it seem like they barely bother to alter formula at all ...

Yeah, I mean, in Hellsing proper, it took, what, two, three volumes to go through the entire battle? Lol, I would say it was pretty much the last four ^_^ By the way, I just got interviewed about Shine by The Xcentrikz. Check it out for thoughts, reflections, Hitchhiker's Guide quotations, and, yes...

Hunch? Um... shouldn't the author know these things? Characters and stories sometimes reveal themselves slowly. Part of the fun of being a writer is the fun of discovery ^_^ ...This feels like it's going to be the end. Of Shine. I don't know why, it just feels like everything is leading up to this....

Hey, Miss Erin: if I remember right, at one point you had said that Abraham Van Helsing was Integra's grandfather, so -if- they didn't mess up the continuity with the Van Helsing movie; could Gabriel either be a brother to Abraham (it's been a while since I read Dracula) or other relation? Yep, tha...

Has the name come up in Shine? (If so, serious continuity fail on my part...but I didn't think it had.)
