One of the things I still can't get my brain around is that we normalized relations with Vietnam before we did so with Cuba. (Albeit the choice seems like would you rather get hit in the face or the stomach) The true communists are dead in Vietnam. What remains are pragmatic despots who are willing...

Lies are more believeable with a large dose truth. If they had given Quentyn credit for discovering and destroying the Rosad Beither lab (just leave out it was recent and made by his disciples) people would have assumed it was an old abandoned lab and everything was now OK. Quentyn would have the cr...

According to this page capybara are quite friendly. If they are friendly a capybara king might use its power for good instead of evil. Yes, but can you imagine the sheer size of the thing? OK, how about a Phoberomys pattersoni king? 1,500 lbs of rodent fun! http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2...

Sorry. didn't happen. Ted Kennedy and Michael Moore did not turn into a black hole and duck half the lefty loonies into them. I've been reading some books on the history of particle physics lately and I imagined putting Kennedy and Moore into a particle accelerator and slamming them into each other...

Hmmm. Reminds me of a place where right in front of the urinal there is an arrow pointing up. Two feet higher is another arrow, and two feet beyond that, another one. Finally right above the spot where the occupant stands is a sign on the ceiling that says: "You're peeing on your shoes" I would thi...

Re: Check, please?

Why? (other than Hortense and Thelma both doing rude things to you) :D Okay, so peeking wouldn't be nice. Still, I think those instincts might qualify more as 'Perverse' rather than 'Perverted'. Naughty thoughts about a pretty girl in the shower are perfectly natural. ACTING on those thoughts (when...

Re: A river of black

My worry was that Quentyn would fight so valiantly, only to have it go unknown. It's nice to know that he will be getting the praise he deserves! :D I was afraid that might happen as well - I am glad to see the recognition. Hopefully, he gets some sort of financial renumeration for his deeds. :wink...

Ralph has such a creative touch I have a feeling we may be all surpised.

What I want to know is with such prowess on her part how did Tuck carry Thelma to the photo shoot in the first place? She could (should?) have beat the crap out of him.
