Not really; our 'hood is not the best for that sort of thing. Apparently, back in the day, there was a nightclub about a block away from Dad's place. They shut down because people kept getting shot in front of it. It's not nearly as bad as I make it sound. The really bad neighborhood starts about 3 ...

I'm 22. I'm doing the drop-out thing right now, though I intend to return to school in the fall.
I'm the Brother of the Artist. Not that this grants me any particular insight into the future; he's stopped discussing plot with me. Except for snarky emails complaining about sharing my nonexistent i...

Isn't there that old prophecy that Athena's gonna overthrow Zeus? Hmmm...
Which could mean we're being set up for the whole new generation of gods beating up the old thing. You'll notice that none of the old gods, as yet, has been portrayed in a good light. Demeter was closest, but Athena was stil...

I'd sorta assumed the new guy was Ares... The casual arrogance, the sword, liking Penelope's valor, it all fits. And Penelope opposing Athena kinda puts her in the Poseidon-Ares-Hera 'Gods no one really likes' camp... :)

I believe the phrase I used was 'He doesn't deal well with the geopolitical complexities of the sitution'. Which is true.
While I like Hemmingway a lot, sometimes he's so... 'Fascists bad. Me good. Og kill antelope. Og drag woman back to his cave.'

I think you're making it up. There's words for all the various sorts of footnotes in the Talmud, but I don't think any that really apply in other contexts. And talmudic commentary needs to be fairly compact so as to fit on the page with all the other commentary.
I'd just say 'Hephaestus Gaiden' an...
