i well admit one thing - abbie is a very good actor!! and he does have hatred towards the firewolves - maybe did something happen to him and di is to young to notice whats going on

heres a little brain teaser - notice Inavara didnt have long hair and the scar back then (this was before Zephy ended up in the prison) so he must have gotten the scar in that 9 months that pasted hehe
