This thread has driffted a bit off-path. I only wanted to agree about the unreadable nature of the Covenant books. I could barely make it through the first book because I despised the main character so strongly. When someone is handed superpowers they should use them for good and evil. Using them fo...

Quick observations. the only people who weren't zapped (or at least not portrayed as so) were Harry, Stu and The Doc. Note that these are all new characters. However, Jackie, and Timin both took a hit, so being new is not necesarily a protection. My first guess is that either Harry or Stu is a plant...

For anyone who cares.

MST3K was not originally public access. It was a local channel show, which is almost as bad. Anyway, it began in 1988 on KTMA-TV in my current city of residence, The Twin Cities (St. Paul-Minneapolis). After that it was picked up by comedy central.

And now you know.

The guy is a sociopath. If he can't behave better than this, he isn't fit for polite company. Anywhere. And he'll have a very, very hard time getting through life. The best place for him to learn would be in the club. You think they should kick him out because he lacks social graces? I'm part of a ...

I just wanted to add to the corus of affirmatives. It is fully possible for the ground to move like that. There have been testimonials of people who put there head next to the ground during an earthquake. They have described being able to see waves in the earth. These waves seem very large, and thus...

See, it's kind of like modern Bibles where the words of Jesus are red. The whole book is the word of God but those are direct quotes. I'm curious what bible that's from, because it's really not true. At best, about 1/3 of the things Jesus says in the bible are anywhere near actual quotes. Mo...
